Install on Wix
Use the Embed HTML element and adjust the frame size. About 3 minutes.
Steps
Copy your snippet
Open your widget in Embedra, head to the Embed panel, and copy your snippet.
Add an embed element
In the Wix editor, click Add, then Embed Code, then Embed HTML. (In Wix Studio, this is just called Embed.) Drag the box to wherever you want the widget to live.
Paste the code
Click Enter Code on the element and paste your snippet. Make sure you select Code rather than Website address.
Publish and register
Publish your site, then jump back to Embedra and add your domain to the Embed panel. (If you are still using a free wixsite.com address, enter that for now, and update it when you buy a real domain.)
Troubleshooting Wix quirks
Wix handles code a bit uniquely. If things look off, it is usually one of these quick fixes.
My widget is cut off, or has an annoying scrollbar inside a tiny box.
Wix quirkWhy this happens: Wix places your code inside a strict, fixed-size "frame". That frame doesn't automatically stretch to fit your content.
The fix: Simply click and drag the bottom of the embed element in the Wix editor to make it taller until your entire grid fits perfectly.
There is a weird ad banner floating above my widget.
Wix quirkWhy this happens: That is Wix's free-plan advertising banner. Because Wix places it over all content, it sometimes looks like it belongs to our widget.
The fix: This banner disappears automatically the moment you connect a paid domain to your Wix account.
The widget works in the Wix editor, but not on the live site.
Why this happens: For security, Embedra blocks widgets from loading on unauthorized websites.
The fix: Make sure you added your exact, published domain name to the Embed panel inside Embedra.
