Add your widget to Wix

Use Embed HTML for a feed. A cookie banner or chat button must use Settings, Custom Code instead, which needs a Premium plan with a connected domain. About 4 minutes.

   Copy your code

   In Embedra, open your widget, click the Embed pill, then "Copy code". It already carries your widget's ID, so there is nothing to fill in.

   
2. Heads up

   Leave Allowed domains empty on Wix

   Wix runs Embed HTML inside its own frame, on a Wix address rather than your domain. If you lock the widget to your domain, Wix's frame is turned away with "This widget only runs on the website it was set up for."

3. On one page

   For feeds: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Google Reviews. The widget appears exactly where you paste the code.

   Add Elements, Embed Code, Embed HTML

   In the Wix Editor, click "Add Elements" (the + on the left), then "Embed Code", then "Embed HTML".

   Enter Code, choose Code, paste, Apply

   Click "Enter Code". In "HTML Settings", choose "Code" (not "Website address"), paste your code into "Add your code here" and click "Apply". Drag the box taller until the whole widget fits, then Publish.

   Wix Studio or Wix Harmony?

   Wix Studio: Add Elements, "Embed & Social", "Embed Code", "Enter Code", paste, "Apply". Wix Harmony: "+ Add", Elements, Embed, drag "Embed code" on, then open its Settings.

7. On every page

   For tools that float over your site: Cookie Banner and WhatsApp chat. Paste once, at the end of the page, and it shows on every page.

   Open Settings, Custom Code

   In your Wix dashboard, open Settings, then "Custom Code", and click "+ Add Custom Code".

   All pages, Body - end, Apply

   Paste your code, name it "Embedra", choose "All pages" and "Body - end". On the "Code Type" tab keep "Essential". Click "Apply".

   
10. Tip

    Check it like a visitor

    Open your live site in a private (incognito) window. That shows exactly what your visitors see, without your login or your browser's saved copy.

11. Fix

    My widget is cut off or has a scrollbar

    Wix puts Embed HTML in a fixed-size frame. Drag the bottom of the element in the editor to make it taller.

12. Fix

    There is an ad banner above my widget

    That is Wix's free-plan banner, not part of your widget. It goes away when you connect a paid domain.
