INSTALL GUIDES · WEBFLOW APP
Install Embedra from the Webflow Marketplace and add widgets from the Designer, with no code to copy. Needs a Webflow site plan that allows custom code (Basic or higher). About 3 minutes.
Once per site.
In Webflow, open Apps, find Embedra and click "Install". Pick your site and click "Authorize". Embedra asks only for what adding widgets needs: who you are, your site, and its custom code.
Open your site in the Designer, press E (or click Apps on the left) and choose Embedra. If the panel asks, click "Allow in Webflow" to finish the install for this site.
Click "Connect Embedra" and sign in, or create a free account. The window shows which account you are signed in as, and "Use another account" switches. Approve, and the panel lists your widgets.
Feeds and reviews go on one page. The cookie banner and WhatsApp chat go on every page.
Select a section or div block on the page. In the panel, click "Preview" to see the widget, then "Add to page". It goes inside the block you selected as one block named "Embedra: widget name" in the Navigator, which you can move like any element. The first time, the panel lists what Embedra adds to your site before you confirm.
Click "Add to site" and the tool shows on every page. "Remove" takes it off again.
Click "Publish". In the Designer each widget shows as a placeholder block; your visitors see the real widget on the published site.
Click "Edit in Embedra" in the panel, or "New widget" to make another. Changes reach your site without republishing.
Everything the app puts on your site, and nothing else.
Named "Embedra: widget name" in the Navigator, with the class embedra-placeholder. The class only draws the grey card in the Designer; on the published site the block becomes your widget.
Named Embedra, under Site settings, Custom code, and added through Webflow's Custom Code API. On the published site it turns the blocks into your widgets and shows the cookie banner and WhatsApp chat, loading them from embed.embedra.io. It never changes your other custom code.
Do this before you uninstall the app: Webflow does not remove an app's code on uninstall.
In the panel, click "Remove Embedra from this site" and confirm. Then delete the Embedra blocks from your pages and publish. "Disconnect" unlinks your Embedra workspace from the site.
Click the Webflow logo, then "Site settings", open "Custom code", delete the script named Embedra, and publish.
Custom code needs a paid Webflow site plan (Basic or higher). Upgrade the site, then click "Add to page" again.
Adding a widget needs Design mode. Switch the Designer from Edit content to Design and try again.
