Install on Webflow
Use the native Embed component and publish your site to see it live. About 3 minutes.
Steps
Copy your snippet
Open your widget in Embedra, go to the Embed panel and copy the snippet. It already carries your unique widget ID, so there is nothing to fill in.
Add an Embed element
Open your project in the Webflow Designer. Go to the Add Elements panel (the plus icon) and drag an Embed component onto your page.
Paste the code
Paste your snippet into the code editor box that pops up on your screen. Click Save and Close.
Register your domain
Back in Embedra, add your published Webflow domain to the Embed panel. Your widget will only load on domains you specifically authorize.
Publish to view
Webflow blocks custom code from running inside the designer canvas. Hit Publish and open your live staging link (your .webflow.io address) or your custom domain to see your widget.
Troubleshooting Webflow quirks
Webflow keeps its design canvas locked down. If things look off, start here.
I cannot see my widget in the Designer.
Webflow quirkWhy this happens: Webflow disables third party scripts inside the building canvas for security and speed.
The fix: Publish your site and view the live page. You will only see an empty gray box in the designer.
My widget looks cut off at the bottom.
Webflow quirkWhy this happens: The parent element holding your Embed has a strict, fixed height.
The fix: Select the Div Block holding your Embed and make sure the height is set to Auto.
Still stuck? Email support@embedra.io with your site's address and we will look at the page itself. A real person replies.
