Add a Custom Liquid block in your Theme Editor. About 3 minutes.
Steps
Copy your snippet
Open your widget in Embedra, go to the Embed panel and copy the snippet.
Open the Theme Editor
Log into your Shopify admin dashboard. Click Online Store on the left menu, then click Customize next to your current theme.
Add a Custom Liquid block
Navigate to the page where you want your widget. Click Add Section or Add Block. Search the list for Custom Liquid and select it.
Paste the code
In the right side menu, paste your snippet into the Custom Liquid text box. Click Save in the top right corner of the screen.
Register your domain
Go back to Embedra and add your live Shopify domain to the Embed panel. Make sure to add your primary custom domain, not just the internal .myshopify.com address.
Troubleshooting Shopify quirks
Shopify themes control the layout around your widget. If things look off, start here.
The widget is squeezed into a tiny column.
Shopify quirkWhy this happens: Your theme placed the Custom Liquid block inside a narrow text section or grid.
The fix: Drag the Custom Liquid block out of that section so it sits as its own full width section on the page.
The widget is completely blank.
Why this happens: You did not authorize the correct domain in Embedra.
The fix: Look at the exact URL in your browser bar when viewing the live store. Copy that domain and add it to your Embedra Embed panel.
