These terms govern your use of Embedra (embedra.io), a product of Tecbot Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Embedra is a no-code tool that displays live, styleable widgets on your website through a single embed snippet, such as an Instagram feed, your Facebook Page's posts or your Google reviews. Features, plans and limits are described on our website and in the application, and may change over time.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for the users you invite to your workspace. You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
When you connect an Instagram account or a Facebook Page, you authorise us to access that account's own profile and posts through Meta's APIs solely to display your feed in the widgets you configure. Your use of Instagram and Facebook remains subject to Meta's own terms and policies. You are responsible for having the rights to display the content you connect, and you can disconnect at any time.

Embedra offers a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans and any usage-based charges are billed as described at the point of purchase and in the application. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may change pricing on reasonable notice; changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.
Some widgets read from a third-party platform that charges us for each lookup and limits how many we may make. Review widgets are the current example. So that one workspace cannot exhaust what every other customer depends on, these widgets are governed by the fair use terms in this section rather than by the general refresh cadence advertised for your plan.
Review widgets are refreshed on a schedule we set, currently once a day on every plan. This is deliberate rather than a limitation of your plan: reviews change slowly, and a faster schedule would consume a shared quota without showing you anything new.
Each plan also includes a monthly allowance of review lookups and a daily allowance of on-demand refreshes per widget. Both are shown on the pricing page and in the application. When an allowance is reached your widget keeps serving the reviews it last retrieved: nothing goes offline, nothing is deleted, and the allowance resets at the start of the next period.
Allowances attach to your workspace rather than to an individual widget, so deleting a widget and creating another does not reset them.
We may adjust these schedules and allowances as the underlying platforms change what they charge and permit. Where a change reduces what your plan includes, we will tell you before it takes effect.
You retain all rights to the content you connect, from Instagram, Facebook or any other source. You grant us a limited licence to fetch, cache and display that content only as needed to provide the widgets you set up. Embedra, including the application, the embed technology and our branding, remains our intellectual property. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while these terms are in force.
Free plan widgets display a small “Powered by Embedra” badge. It is part of the branding described above, and it is what the free plan costs instead of money, so it needs to stay visible to the people who see your site. Every paid plan removes it, and upgrading is the supported way to do that.
Our widgets check whether the badge is visible and tell us when it is not. That check measures the layout around the widget and records nothing about your visitors.
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Each feed depends on its source platform's own availability and API, such as Instagram's or Facebook's. We may add, change or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect a paid plan.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of the content you display, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms or of any third-party platform's policies.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to us, our providers or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy.
Enforcement can also be narrower than the whole account. If a specific widget breaches section 4, we may stop it serving or, where the content itself must be removed, delete that widget. We may also deactivate a sign-in. Deactivation stops the person signing in; it does not by itself delete workspace data or stop other widgets. Every enforcement action is recorded with its reason, and where reasonable we will tell you what happened and why.
Our staff do not open your workspace to see it as you do in the course of support unless an owner or admin of that workspace grants access from the dashboard. A grant is limited to a duration you choose, can be revoked at any time, and every use is recorded and visible in your account. We will never ask you for your password.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, and continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. Last updated: 27 August 2026.
